India
As we know that Rose is
known as a king of the
flowers and is considered
symbol of love & affection
to mankind. It blooms
throughout the year with
bountiful flower and make
the environment colourful
and meaningful under the
moderate climate of
Bangalore and Pune area.
Rose has multiple uses apart
from its garden decoration,
it is extensively used as
major cut flower in addition
to various value added
products. It has two major
flush of the flowering
during winter and spring
under the northern plain.
The Rose Society of India
registered under societies
registration act XXI of 1860
vide registration number
1838 on dated 5th
July 1961, the than by great
stalwart his highness
Maharaja Yadavindra Singh
(Maharaja Patiala), Dr. M.S.
Randhawa, Administrator of
Chandigarh and great
visionary Dr. B.P. Pal the 1st
Director of IARI and DG ICAR.
This society has a National
Rose Garden located at
Chanakya Puri, New Delhi
where as large number of
rose varieties has been
maintained. This society is
working for a social cause
holding winter rose show
during December every year
in addition to various other
activities like seminar,
symposium, conference and
trainings etc. We welcome
